Haiku de Kyoshi

Hatsu-chou ku naniiro to tou ki to kotau

A first butterfly flying;
What color, someone asks ---
Yellow, I answer ---

La primera mariposa volando.
¿De qué color? Pregunta alguien-
Amarillo, respondo.

Haiku de Kyoshi

Teki to yuu mono ima wa nashi aki no tuki

What we call enemies
There are now none;
Autumn moon

A los que llamamos enemigos
no hay ninguno ahora;
luna de otoño.

Haiku de Kyoshi

Tatoureba koma no hajikeru gotoku nari

Like two spinning tops
We burst away
At the slightest touch

Como dos peonzas
nosotros salimos despedidos
al más ligero roce.

Koubai no kou no kayoeru miki naran

Crimson must be running
Through the trunk of
This red plum tree

El carmesí debe estar corriendo
a través del tronco
de este rojo ciruelo.

Haiku de Kyoshi

Oh-yudachi kururashi Yuhu no kaki-kumori

Great showers are coming---
Mt.Yuhu has been covered
With dark clouds

Llegan grandes chubascos-
El monte Yuhu cubierto
con nubes oscuras.
